Craving is an independent family owned business, founded in 2014 by Tottenham residents Matthew & Rachel Ho.

We have a licensed cafe and event space located in the Ten 87 music studios complex, serving speciality coffee, an Asian fusion menu, along with beer, wine & cocktails.

History
Matt, with his back ground in the coffee industry, and Rachel, with her experience in events and disability employment, began Craving in May 2014 as a humble mobile cart servicing the local Harringay and Tottenham Green village markets.
In September of the same year they opened a fully-fledged licensed café and event venue in Gaunson House in South Tottenham. Serving locally influenced food, specialty coffee & tea, wine, beer and cocktails, not to mention hosting hundreds of creative and food led events.

The pandemic in 2020 saw Craving nearly lose everything, but thanks to community support through a successful crowdfunding campaign, they were able to get back open and rethink the future of the business. The time also allowed to rework their food offer, focusing on south east Asian flavours, thanks to owner Matt's Singaporean heritage.

An opportunity arose in 2021 to work with their long time friends Ten 87, relocating Craving's premises into the world-class recording studio community across the the road on Markfield Road. This collaboration has allowed for more space and a chance to extend Craving's music-led event programming.
